Brief IOC history: It’s Our County was officially launched at Hereford’s Shire Hall on 16 September 2010, being a merger earlier that year of Herefordshire First, formed by Peter Cocks (now IOC Chairman) and the It’s Our City campaign which had petitioned against an intensive retail redevelopment of the Edgar Street Grid. Four IOC councillors sit on the present county and city councils.
