Charles Nicholls

Charles Nicholls is passionate about Herefordshire – where he was born and grew up. His practical education at St Owen’s County Primary has stood him in good stead over the years.

His face will be familiar – he started his own business in 1966 in the Butter Market – and he is still there, equipping your children with school uniforms. You may remember him supplying trophies, doing engraving or replacing your watch battery.

He is now ardent in his desire to be of still further service – as your Councillor.

Charles has entered the political scene in the last couple of years because of frustration with the present administration, suspicion of secret deals, and fears for the future of Herefordshire’s citizens of all ages. It really is time for a change in direction and time to stand up be counted; to become engaged in Herefordshire’s development.
Charles lived on Whitecross Road when he first married and had his banns read at Holy Trinity; his roots are there and he has a strong connection with Three Elms.

Your It’s our County candidates will endeavour to reverse, or at the very least, mitigate, the worrying decisions of the recent past – decisions which will bring chaos to Three Elms, and misery for everyone. These decisions were motivated by party politics, not by and for the needs of the residents of Three Elms, and Herefordshire. Now is the time for a change in direction.

Although we’re all faced with cuts at national level the present council’s unnecessary waste burdens all of us. Surely it’s time to examine this budget, and use the available money more wisely – especially to protect our more vulnerable citizens from these times of acute austerity? An It’s Our County council will do this – and will properly consult with and listen to the people they represent.

What future do You want for Three Elms, and for Herefordshire? We hope It’s Our County will be your choice – to make the necessary changes to carry us through the difficult times ahead.

Vote for change, vote for fresh ideas, vote It’s Our County. Together we will accomplish it.
