Liz Chave thought people like her didn’t go into politics. Now she thinks they need to – and she hopes you’ll agree. We can do things better.
Since moving to Hereford in 1998, Liz has worked in administration, retail and as a supply teacher. She and her husband Brian have lived in Whitecross for 10 years. Reggie the cat joined them in January.
Liz is a lifelong Anglican and a Reader. Her Christian faith has motivated her to stand for election. She founded WATCH Hereford in 1999 and was a Trustee of the Mothers’ Union from 2006 – 2011. She continues to be involved in both organisations, and on the PCC of Holy Trinity Church.
Liz grew up in an Essex market town, and lived for many years in suburban London near the Kent border and she also worked in Westminster.
She enjoys needlework and knitting, reading, music (both classical and heavy rock!), and photography. She is a poet, writer and occasional broadcaster.
Liz is an honest and caring person, and a good listener. She promises to listen to you, and to voice your concerns in council. Together we can make Herefordshire and even greater place to live and work.
